Maddie is a sixth-year PhD candidate in the Computer Science and Learning Sciences program. As an artist, designer, researcher, and educator, her work examines arts and technology learning as integrally tied to the social worlds of working artists and creative practitioners. Utilizing qualitative and design-based methods, she explores how artistic practices--as lifelong processes of learning--might reorient our understanding of disciplinary learning.
